The Gods Battle for Men's Souls...

Tornadoes. Tsunamis. Plagues. Natural disasters? Or signs of gods' wrath?

The earthly and divine realms meet in Playing Gods: The Board Game of Divine Domination. Whether wreaking disasters of biblical proportions on innocent populations or bestowing providence and goodwill, the gods have ever made sport of humans. Though possessing amazing powers, the gods are jealous.

The cards and rules in Playing Gods: The Board Game of Divine Domination are god-neutral, and apply equally well to any gods that players wish to use or create. However, for those players who wish to delve deeper into the well of fun and blasphemy (or just want to see deluxe cards with full-color images of the gods), Balls Out Entertainment offers an Expansion Pack with 30 deluxe cards specific to the five major religions. They provide special attacks and defenses based on each religion’s characteristics, and are easily incorporated into the existing rules and card decks. If players get bored of killing off other gods’ followers with the usual earthly disasters (floods, plagues, earthquakes, etc.) they can create their own specialized attack cards! Instead of a plague of locusts, how about a plague of rabid weasels? Or a flock of flatulent geese? As a god, it’s all in your hands...

For 2 to 5 players, ages 14 and up, playable in 30 to 90 minutes.
